Welcome to our website
Anthony Murphy established Care Assist Children’s Services in November 2002. For many years Anthony Murphy, has been living and working with youth groups in the Liverpool area, and identified the need to support young people who were based in residential care.
In November 2002, Care Assist Children’s Services established a care home for young people with challenging behaviour. After 3 years the company strives to positively move young people forward and allow them to gain educational skills to assist them towards adulthood achievements.
More recently in 2009, Care Assist Children’s Services established its second care home for young people with challenging behaviour in a rural village in North Yorkshire.

We recognise the importance of our working relationship with the service user and support all aspects or the care industry. Each Care Assist home is operated in accordance with registered standards and best practice where possible, whilst at the same time endeavouring to maintain an atmosphere as close to home as possible.
A consistency of approach and support for young people and staff alike is demanded and expected by all. Inappropriate behaviour or attitudes from young people or staff must and is challenged at all times.
Provision of care is extremely flexible to allow for the needs of the individual. Placements range from short term respite care to long term placements for as long as is best for the young person. Day to day care is planned in consultation with the young people via a weekly planned programme, designed around the individual needs and agreed with parents, social workers and pertinent others.
The homes will on occasion accept emergency placements. Such placements however will only be accepted if space and appropriate facilities permits and the placement is planned as near to best standards as is practical. Also staff and persons concerned within the home are made aware of any such placement plans and decision recorded. A review of arrangements initiated must occur as soon as possible but no longer than 72 hours after admission.
